MinistriesBeulah Matrons Ministries (B.M.M.)
Pamela CottrellAs one among the strongest missionary organizations in the church, the Beulah Matrons Ministry aids and supports the work of Christ in its missionary endeavors through various acts of courtesy and love which address real life situations at all levels. In so doing, the ministry members strive to bring a glimpse of sunshine and peace into the lives of those they touch.
Beulah Wheel
Rita James, PresidentThe Beulah Wheel is mission-based organization which seeks to identify hurts and concerns and to provide assistance to those in need.
Brotherhood
Elmon Benton, PresidentThe Brotherhood is church-wide organization which plans and executes activities and programs that foster wholesome Christian fellowship throughout the church and the community.
Courtesy Ministry
Rebecca Jackson, PresidentThe Courtesy Guild serves as the church's official hospitality committee as it extends the courtesies of meeting, greeting, and welcoming the Sunday morning worshippers. In addition, it is also the voice which offers church announcements and extends well wishes to the sick and shut-in members.
Deacon Ministry
Jasper Jewell, ChairmanThe Deacon Ministry is at the helm of the missions and benevolence department of Beulah Baptist Church. As one of the oldest organizations of the Church this group of men has the primary responsibility for the promotion and coordination of the multiple and varied church ministries as they relate to caring for the aged, orphaned, widowed, sick, imprisoned, hungry, and the homeless.
Deaconess Ministry
Forrest Brown, PresidentThe Deaconess Ministry was organized in 1922 by Rev. H. H. Coleman. The primary functions of this group of dedicated women (primarily deacons' wives) are preparing holy communion, visiting the sick and shut-in, and serving as role models for the teenage girls and young adult women of the church.
Health Unit
Nealean Austin, PresidentThe membership of this ministry consists of registered nurses, graduate nurses, licensed practical nurses, nurse trainees, and individuals interested in nursing as a way of offering help to others. Members of this ministry are on duty at the Sunday morning worship hour as well as all funerals providing assistance to the sick, disabled or any worshipper in need of health aid.
Missionary Society
Merle McMillon, PresidentThis ministry demonstrates its Christian faith through service to humankind with acts of mission that extend beyond the church walls, as they actively seek to address the needs of the community at-large. Also, this group provides help to the sick and shut-in.
Mothers Ministry
Mary Harper, PresidentIt is the primary function of the Mothers Ministry to coordinate the baptismal service for the pastor and deacons. The members of this ministry also serves as flower attendants at funeral services.\
Trustee Ministry
Marvin Meriwether, ChairmanThe Trustee Ministry oversees the physical and financial affairs of the church. This group of committed men and women live out their call to stewardship as they use their skills in negotiating, facilitating, and administrating to ensure the ongoing healthy maintenance of the church.
Usher Ministries
Our ushers are responsible for receiving the offering as well as greeting and seating the worshippers.
Beulah has five user boards; each of which is assigned to serve on a designated Sunday:

Youth-In-Heart Ministry

The primary focus of the Young-In-Heart Ministry is to ensure that opportunities are provided for sharing in Christian fellowship and participating in church activities at levels hat is meaningful and fulfilling to the church's senior membership.
Vine City Housing Ministry
The Vine City Housing Ministry, a coalition of churches in the Vine City community, is a non-profit, charitable organization. It works in concert with government agencies, other non-profit organizations, and private industry to generate new residential home ownership opportunities, as well as to preserve and maintain existing housing.

Library Media Center

The primary objective of the Library Media Center is to provide a collection of materials that focus on the Christian and the African-American experience.Nursery/Childcare
Diane Kendrick, SupervisorThe nursery operates under the loving care of qualified Beulah volunteers. It offers childcare during the morning worship service for children ages 0-5 years old.
Pastor's Aid (PA) Guild
The P.A. Guild extends courtesies to the pastor and his family throughout the year, including special occasions and holidays.
Tape Ministry
Christopher Cottrell, Sr.
Stephanie McClenton and
Harold Battle (Sound Technicians)The Tape Ministry provides a way of offering the members, especially those who cannot be in attendance, the Sunday morning worship service and other recorded pieces of history as it is being lived out at Beulah Baptist Church through gospel sermons, praise songs, concerts, and anniversaries along with other church related services.
